Pros: I liked that my immediate supervisors for university events were usually supportive. They let me handle most of the planning for the Shah Alam campus career fair without micromanaging. It's good experience for higher education administrative roles.
Cons: The higher-up leadership, though, can be pretty detached. Decisions often feel slow, especially for big projects or budget approvals for events. It's tough when you're trying to meet deadlines, as an Event Coordinator, and waiting for feedback from above.
Advice to Management: Try to be more present and responsive to the teams on the ground. Quicker decision-making would really help us execute university events better and reduce stress for staff, especially in administrative roles.
