Decent Pay, But Growth Stalls for Sales Roles

Pros: The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is pretty solid. You get decent commission for selling terracotta tiles and other building materials. There's good job security in the distribution industry if you meet your targets.
Cons: Career growth is really slow for sales roles. There aren't many promotion opportunities, even if you consistently exceed targets. It feels like you hit a ceiling fast here, especially after a couple of years as a Sales Executive.
Advice to Management: Create clearer pathways for sales staff to move up. Invest in training for advanced roles, not just product knowledge. Show more
