Decent for a startup, but prepare for change

Pros: For a tech startup, job security is actually pretty okay. I felt pretty solid as a Software Engineer, especially after our Series C funding round. They try to find new roles before just letting people go.
Cons: Things can change fast though. We had a reorg that affected some product teams in the San Francisco office, which felt a bit unsettling. It's not a big corporate safety net here, so don't expect it.
Advice to Management: Communicate changes more clearly and earlier, especially when it affects team structures in the San Francisco office. Transparency really helps with job security perception for your engineering teams. Show more
