Okay flexibility, but room for improvement
Pros: As a Sales Coordinator, I did appreciate the ability to occasionally swap shifts with colleagues if something came up. The team's usually understanding about minor personal appointments. It's an onsite role, but they don't micromanage your breaks.
Cons: Hybrid work isn't really an option for most roles in the Kuala Lumpur office. You're expected to be in daily, which can be tough for work-life balance. There's not much formal work-from-home policy, even for administrative tasks for us in construction supply sales.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing a more formal hybrid work model or at least a WFH policy for suitable roles. It would really help with employee morale and attraction, especially for newer talent in this industry. It feels a bit old-school sometimes. Show more
