Pros: The team on the production floor is solid, we really helped each other out during busy periods. Pay for a Production Engineer role was decent for the Malaysian market, and benefits like EPF were standard. You get good hands-on experience with industrial manufacturing processes.
Cons: Leadership really struggles with clear communication. It felt like decisions changed weekly, which was tough for planning production. There's not much transparency, especially when it comes to career growth paths for engineers. Onsite work is expected, but flexibility isn't really a thing.
Advice to Management: Focus on building a more transparent leadership team. Improve communication channels and provide clearer career development plans, especially for your engineering staff. It would help a lot with morale.
