Not much WFH for Project Coordinators
Pros: As a Project Coordinator, the schedule was super consistent, so you always knew what to expect for your 9-to-5. It's strictly an onsite work environment in the Kuala Lumpur office. That stability can be good if you like a predictable routine every day.
Cons: There's barely any remote work or WFH options available for most roles, especially mine. The company really prefers everyone in the office daily. It makes it tough to manage personal appointments or have any work-life balance outside of fixed hours. They don't really support a hybrid model here.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more remote work days or a proper hybrid schedule for employees. It'd really help with morale and work-life balance for those in the corporate environment.

Leadership could use some real direction
Pros: Some senior managers are genuinely supportive, especially within the marketing department. I did learn a lot about the consumer goods industry here.
Cons: Leadership really struggles with clear communication. Decisions often feel top-down, and feedback from employees in the Kuala Lumpur office isn't always heard. It's tough to feel empowered for marketing roles when strategy changes without much explanation.
Advice to Management: Focus on better transparency and two-way communication. Engage more with your teams, especially those in entry to mid-level roles, to understand daily challenges in this onsite work setting.
