Project Coordinator

Decent place, but flexibility needs work.
Pros: I've appreciated the hybrid work model, it's a solid option. As a Project Coordinator in the Kuala Lumpur office, I can split my time between home and onsite, which is good for personal commitments. The IT department uses pretty standard tools, so that's easy.
Cons: Work flexibility here is inconsistent across different teams. It feels like some get more remote days, which isn't fair to everyone. The company needs clearer, universal WFH policies for all its software development roles.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid work model across all departments. Clear guidelines for remote work would really boost morale and fairness among employees.

Okay Pay, But Benefits Could Improve
Pros: The base salary for my Operations Executive role was competitive for a mid-sized company in the Kuala Lumpur logistics industry. I got a small annual bonus most years, which was nice. Pay day was always on time.
Cons: The health insurance plan isn't very comprehensive, which is a concern. There aren't many other perks or allowances, so the overall benefits package feels pretty basic. I didn't see much room for significant salary increases unless I got a promotion.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the benefits package, especially health coverage, to attract and retain talent. More competitive allowances would also help improve employee satisfaction.

Decent Culture, But Be Ready for Long Hours
Pros: The team here is generally supportive, especially among fellow Operations Executives. We often help each other out with daily tasks in the global supply chain. There's a friendly, casual vibe in the Kuala Lumpur office, so it's easy to get along with most colleagues.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit traditional. New ideas aren't always embraced quickly by senior management, which is tough for process innovation. There's a real 'do more with less' mentality, so onsite work often leads to pretty long days if you're not careful.
Advice to Management: Try to be more open to new process improvements. Empower teams to suggest changes for global supply chain operations without so much red tape. It would really boost morale and efficiency.
