Supportive Culture, Solid Tech Focus
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time here as a Process Engineer in Haag, Switzerland. The team culture is genuinely supportive and collaborative, which makes daily work a positive experience. There are great learning opportunities, especially dealing with advanced vacuum technology in high-tech manufacturing. It's a stable company, so job security feels good. Leadership generally encourages innovation and professional development.
Cons: While career advancement is definitely possible, the promotion process can sometimes feel a bit slow compared to industry peers. Communication across different global sites could be more streamlined; occasional bottlenecks arise. Also, some internal approval processes could benefit from further simplification.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining inter-departmental communication and reviewing the promotion path for experienced employees to keep them engaged. Improving transparency around career progression could also be beneficial.

Cons: Career progression can feel a bit slow sometimes. We also have occasional busy periods where work-life balance is challenging. Streamlining internal communication and approval processes could definitely boost efficiency.

Okay flexibility, but room to grow for onsite roles
Pros: You can usually adjust your start time a bit, which is helpful. For a manufacturing company focused on high-tech valves, that's actually pretty good for managing personal stuff. Most of my colleagues in Sargans appreciated that small perk.
Cons: It's tough to get real work-from-home flexibility when you're a Production Engineer tied to semiconductor manufacturing lines. There's almost no option for hybrid work in my role, which can be a bummer for some.
Advice to Management: Try to identify roles, even within engineering, that could support a hybrid model. It would really help with attracting and retaining talent, especially in a place like Sargans, Switzerland.
