Pros: As a Software Engineer in the Boston office, I've found the base salary to be really competitive. They pay well for our IT consulting industry. Annual raises have been consistent, which is a nice perk to count on.
Cons: The health insurance plans aren't great; the premiums take a big chunk out of my paycheck. Plus, the 401k match is pretty weak compared to other companies, especially in this market. Wish there were more flexible benefit choices too.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the 401k match and offering more flexible health plan options. It would really help with retention in the current job market.

Pros: As a Technical Consultant, the hybrid model was decent. I could work from home a couple of days a week. It's a solid perk for a mid-sized IT consulting firm.
Cons: The hybrid policy felt strict, though. We still needed to be in the Boston office most days. It's not true remote work, which can be tough on personal commitments.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more genuinely flexible work arrangements, especially for client-facing roles. Empower teams to decide what works best, not just a blanket hybrid policy.

Pros: Some immediate team leads are genuinely supportive and understand the challenges we face as IT Consultants. They're good at guiding through daily managed services tasks and fostering a decent team environment for the most part.
Cons: Upper management often feels a bit out of touch with the daily operations for IT consulting roles. Decision-making for the future of our overall IT services can be really slow, and there's not always a clear, unified vision.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating a clearer strategy for IT services and communicate it better to all staff. Empower mid-level managers more.
