Okay for a first job in luxury retail
Pros: I've learned so much about the luxury retail industry. As a Retail Sales Executive, you get great product training and exposure to high-end brands. The commission structure can be pretty good if you hit your targets.
Cons: The work-life balance here isn't great, especially during peak seasons. Expect long hours and weekend shifts, which is standard for onsite retail roles. It's hard to make plans outside of work sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to staff better during busy periods to reduce burnout for your onsite retail teams. More predictable schedules would help a lot.

Pay's okay for retail, but benefits are slim
Pros: You get a base salary that's competitive for a Sales Associate in luxury retail. Commissions on sales can be good if you hit your targets. They do offer an employee discount on some brands, which is a nice perk.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great. Health insurance is basic, and there aren't many extra perks or bonuses beyond commission. For a large corporate retail group, I expected more robust offerings.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the benefits package for frontline staff. Better health coverage and more attractive non-monetary perks would really help with retention in luxury retail.
