Pros: As a Software Engineer here, the base salary is pretty decent for the Kuala Lumpur office, especially for a mid-sized company in the logistics software industry. They also offer annual bonuses, which is a nice perk. It's competitive enough to live comfortably.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, though. Health insurance is basic, and there's no real dental or vision coverage. You also don't get much in terms of stock options or significant retirement matching, which many peers in bigger tech firms offer.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously review the benefits package. Better health coverage and adding things like dental/vision would make a huge difference in employee retention and attracting new talent. Our pay is fine, but the full package needs work.
