Great Place for Cybersecurity Professionals to Learn and Grow
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time at EC-Council Global Services as a Cybersecurity Analyst. The company culture is quite supportive, and my colleagues are fantastic; we often collaborate on interesting projects in the information security space. There are solid learning opportunities, especially with their focus on cybersecurity training and certifications. It's a stable environment where you can really build your technical skills.
Cons: While the learning is great, I've found that the career growth and promotion process can feel a bit slow at times. Also, communication across different teams could definitely be improved for smoother project execution. There are occasional busy periods, which can impact work-life balance, but it's generally manageable.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining the promotion process and enhancing inter-departmental communication to further improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Pay is Okay for Entry Level Cybersecurity
Pros: As a Cybersecurity Consultant, the starting base pay is actually pretty decent here. For remote work, especially if you're working from Florida, it's a solid deal. They've got basic health benefits too, which is common in the cybersecurity industry.
Cons: Raises don't really happen, or they're super tiny each year. There's no 401k match at all, which is a big miss for financial planning. You can't expect bonuses either, so it's strictly just your salary.
Advice to Management: Management needs to seriously look at compensation reviews and adding better retirement benefits like 401k matching. It's hard to keep good talent without competitive pay packages in this cybersecurity industry.

Remote Work is Good, Workload Can Be Heavy
Pros: I really appreciate the remote work flexibility. Being able to WFH is a huge plus, especially as a Content Developer, because it cuts out commute time. We've got pretty decent health benefits too.
Cons: The biggest issue is the workload, especially in the IT certification industry. It often feels like you're expected to be 'always on'. Meeting deadlines for new content can mean really long hours, which severely hurts your personal time and work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously look into workload distribution and setting clearer boundaries for employees. It's tough to have a good work-life balance when the expectations are so high.
