Pros: I've found working as an Operations Executive in the insurance industry here to be really solid. The team culture in Kuala Lumpur is super supportive; everyone's always willing to help out, which makes tackling big projects much easier. I also appreciate the continuous learning opportunities and the stability that comes with working for a large, established multinational insurer. The hybrid work setup is a big plus, offering good work flexibility.
Cons: While there are many positives, the promotion process can feel a bit slow sometimes, especially in a company this size. You definitely need to be proactive about your career path. Also, like in many large corporations in the financial services sector, approval processes can sometimes be a bit bureaucratic, which can delay things. Occasional busy periods are also part of the job, typical for the insurance industry.
Advice to Management: Management could look into streamlining some of the internal approval processes to increase efficiency. More transparent communication around career progression paths would also be beneficial for employees looking to advance.

Pros: The team here is incredibly supportive, and I've learned so much from my colleagues. The training programs are quite good, helping a lot with my career development in the financial services industry. It's a very stable company, which definitely gives you a strong sense of job security. The work environment promotes collaboration and feels genuinely positive most of the time.
Cons: Sometimes, the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow, which can occasionally impact how efficiently we work. Also, there's a pretty strong focus on hitting sales targets, which can get intense during peak periods, putting some pressure on the team.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval processes to improve efficiency. It would also be helpful to find ways to balance the strong focus on sales targets with employee well-being, especially during intense periods. Continued investment in professional development and support for advisors is always appreciated.

Pros: As a Marketing Executive, I found the job security here pretty solid. It's a large corporate company in the insurance industry, so they're not going anywhere. The company has a strong brand presence across Malaysia, which helps.
Cons: Sometimes, the focus on the agent network means other departments feel secondary. Growth can be slow, especially if you're not directly in sales. It can feel a bit old-school in its approach at times.
Advice to Management: Consider modernizing some internal processes to keep up with industry trends. Give more focus to non-sales departments for career pathing.
