Leadership: It's a Mixed Bag Here
Pros: Some project leads are really supportive. They'll help you grow as a Business Analyst, which is huge in the IT services industry. You can learn a lot if you find the right mentors.
Cons: Mid-level leadership can be pretty inconsistent. You don't always get clear direction, especially for complex digital transformation projects. It feels like some managers are just trying to hit their numbers.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize leadership expectations across teams. Support mid-level managers with better training on team development and project planning. Consistency would go a long way.

Hybrid work still tough for some teams
Pros: For a large BPO firm like Genpact, they've started offering hybrid work for some roles. It's a step in the right direction. My team had a decent WFH policy two days a week, which was helpful.
Cons: But honestly, the flexibility isn't consistent across all client services projects. As a Process Associate, you're often tied to strict client hours. Fully remote options are really rare, especially in the Hyderabad office, which is a major drawback for BPO jobs.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize remote work policies across more projects and empower managers to offer more flexibility where client SLAs allow. This would really help with employee retention in a competitive IT services market.

Process Associate

Okay for entry-level, but work-life balance struggles
Pros: You do learn a lot really fast, especially in client-facing roles within IT services. They usually stick to a 5-day work week, which is nice. For an entry-level Process Associate, it's a decent start to gain experience.
Cons: Work-life balance here is a real challenge. As a Process Associate, you're often putting in way more than 40 hours, especially when BPO project deadlines hit. It's hard to make plans outside of work when you're constantly worried about late nights in the Hyderabad office.
Advice to Management: Management needs to seriously look at staffing levels and project timelines. We can't keep burning out our Process Associates with constant overtime. More support for the Hyderabad teams would help.
