Great Place for Design Engineers to Grow and Learn
Pros: Working as a Design Engineer in industrial technology has been a good experience. I appreciate the collaborative teams and the constant opportunities to learn new technologies, which is great for career growth. It's a stable company with supportive colleagues, and the hybrid work model helps a lot.
Cons: Promotions can feel a bit slow at times, and sometimes communication from very top leadership isn't as clear as it could be, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining the promotion process for technical roles and enhance transparency in company-wide communication from executive leadership.

Great Place for Engineers to Learn and Grow
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as an Electrical Engineer at TE Connectivity, a global industrial technology manufacturing company. There are always interesting projects to work on, especially in product development. They prioritize innovation, which means plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and dive deep into electrical engineering challenges. My colleagues are supportive, and I feel like I'm getting good career development here in a stable environment.
Cons: While there's a lot to like, the promotion track can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when you're looking to move up within the core engineering department. It feels like career progression could be clearer. Also, we occasionally deal with some older, legacy systems that could definitely use an upgrade to make daily workflows more efficient for the design and manufacturing teams.
Advice to Management: I'd suggest focusing on streamlining the internal promotion process for technical roles, making the path to advancement clearer. Also, investing more in modernizing legacy IT systems would significantly boost efficiency for engineering and production teams across our global operations.

Solid Place to Build a Career in Manufacturing
Pros: It's a really stable company, which is great for job security in the electronics manufacturing sector. I've had a lot of opportunities to learn new industrial technology and processes, especially with how quickly things change. My colleagues are super supportive, making the company culture pretty good. The work-life balance is decent too, especially with the hybrid option. You don't often feel overworked, which is a big plus.
Cons: The career growth path can feel a bit slow sometimes, and it's not always super clear what steps you need to take for promotion or how to advance within the engineering hierarchy. Also, some of the older internal systems can make daily processes clunky and inefficient, which sometimes slows down project completion and requires extra workarounds. Better integration would help a lot.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal processes to improve efficiency and provide clearer roadmaps for career development within the engineering teams. Better communication about company-wide initiatives would also be beneficial.
