Good Place for Stability and Professional Growth
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time here as a Business Analyst. The teams are truly collaborative, and there's a strong emphasis on learning and development. You get opportunities to pick up new skills, especially in financial services and business operations. It's a stable company, which offers good job security, and I appreciate the hybrid work arrangement. The company culture is generally supportive, fostering a positive environment for professional growth.
Cons: While there are good opportunities, career progression can feel a bit slow sometimes, especially for internal promotions. The approval processes can also be a bit bureaucratic, and sometimes we deal with legacy systems that could use an upgrade. Communication from upper management could also be more consistent. These are minor things though, not deal-breakers.
Advice to Management: Streamline internal promotion paths and invest more in modernizing tools and systems. Clearer and more consistent communication from leadership would also be beneficial for employee engagement.

Decent work-life balance for financial roles
Pros: I've been a Senior Analyst here for a few years, and the work-life balance is pretty decent most of the time. We get a flexible hybrid work model, which is great for managing personal stuff. The PTO policy for the financial services industry is also solid.
Cons: That said, you definitely feel the crunch during quarter-end reporting. It's tough to truly disconnect then, especially working in a corporate environment. There's an unspoken expectation to check emails after hours sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce stricter boundaries around after-hours communication, especially for financial reporting deadlines, to truly support employee well-being.

Solid Base Pay, Benefits Are Just Okay
Pros: As a Business Analyst in the Kuala Lumpur office, the base salary is quite competitive for the financial services industry. You can count on getting paid on time, always. It's a stable company, so job security is decent.
Cons: Annual bonuses aren't always great; they can be pretty average, honestly. The non-medical benefits package is pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Don't expect many innovative perks you might see in other sectors.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the non-medical benefits and making bonuses more transparent and rewarding across all levels. It would really help with retention.
