In October 2009, Hankyu Hanshin Express Co Ltd was launched as a new international logistics company with the management integration of Hankyu Express International Co Ltd and Hanshin Air Cargo Co Ltd. This was followed by its overseas subsidiaries which fully integrated in January 2010. In an era of merging and mega logistics operators, the 2 formerly competing companies of Hankyu Express International and Hanshin Air Cargo has merged into a new company, Hankyu Hanshin Express. With the additional strength and synergy from the merging, it has transformed into a stronger industry leader and better-equipped facilities. Together, Hankyu Hanshin Express’ network covers a total of over 180 offices and staff force of more than 3,000 employees in facilities in Japan, USA, Europe, East Asia and the ASEAN regions.

While air cargo transportation has been rapidly developing with the growth of Japanese economy, Hankyu Hanshin Express creates its proprietary transportation system with its principal idea of contributing to the international physical distribution.
