Leadership Needs More Support for Frontline Staff

Pros: It's a stable job if you need one, working as a Retail Assistant. My direct manager in the Kuala Lumpur store was decent and tried their best. You meet a lot of different people doing convenience store shift work.
Cons: Upper management leadership often feels out of touch. We don't get much guidance or help when things go wrong on the floor. It's tough to feel valued when you're just seen as a number in this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Please listen more to your onsite staff. Provide better training and support for store managers, especially for those running multiple convenience store outlets. Improve communication from corporate down to the frontline team. Show more
