Pros: I liked the hybrid work model here. We get to work from home a couple of days a week, which is nice for avoiding the Kuala Lumpur traffic. It's good to have some remote work options for tasks that need deep focus.
Cons: The flexibility is pretty team-dependent, though. As a Junior Software Developer, you're expected in the office quite a bit for team meetings. There's not much room for fully remote work if you want it.
Advice to Management: Consider making the hybrid work model more consistent across all teams. Give more autonomy to Junior Software Developers for remote days, especially when not required for critical onsite collaboration.
