Work-life balance is tough for Service Advisors here

Pros: The team here at Safeway Lube is pretty solid, everyone helps out when it gets busy. As a Service Advisor, I do get decent breaks sometimes. It's an onsite role, so you're always around the action, which some people like.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really tough. We often work late, especially when there are a lot of oil change and vehicle maintenance jobs back-to-back. It's hard to make plans outside of work because shifts aren't always consistent.
Advice to Management: Management should really look at staffing levels, especially for peak hours in the vehicle maintenance department. It would help a lot with managing workloads and letting staff leave on time more often. Show more
