Decent place, but culture needs a refresh
Pros: You'll get solid training, especially for new hires joining the dealer network. The job security is decent, it's a known brand in the Malaysian car market. Some colleagues are truly supportive, which helps a lot during tough sales cycles.
Cons: The culture is very top-down. Innovation feels stifled, and new ideas from the ground up don't often get traction. There's a lot of bureaucracy, which can be frustrating as an automotive sales executive trying to close deals. Not much work flexibility either.
Advice to Management: Try to empower middle management more. Encourage a culture where feedback from employees, especially those on the front lines in the Kuala Lumpur office, is genuinely considered and acted upon. Show more
