Production Supervisor

Decent factory job, but flexibility is tough.
Pros: The job security is pretty solid in this corporate apparel manufacturing setting. We always have orders, so for production roles, work is consistent. Colleagues are generally okay and help each other out on the factory floor.
Cons: Work flexibility is really tough here. As a Production Supervisor, you're expected to be onsite during fixed hours. It's hard to arrange personal appointments during the week, which impacts your work-life balance. There's almost no WFH option.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more structured time off options or a bit more understanding for personal emergencies. Better work arrangements for senior staff could improve morale and retention.

Steady work, but don't expect big promotions fast
Pros: I appreciate the steady workflow here; it's reliable for onsite work. My team in the Subang Jaya office is pretty solid, everyone helps out. For a large corporate environment in apparel manufacturing, it's a stable job.
Cons: Career growth is definitely slow, especially for Production Coordinator roles. There aren't many clear paths to move up; you're often stuck in one spot. Promotions take ages, and training for new skills isn't really a priority.
Advice to Management: Management should really focus on creating clearer career paths. Invest in training programs for employees. This would help a lot with retention.
