Pretty Standard, Not Much Flexibility

Pros: It's a solid small firm for learning the ropes in interior design. You get hands-on experience with client projects right away, which is great for career development. The team here in the Kuala Lumpur office is generally supportive and helpful.
Cons: Work flexibility is a real struggle for interior design roles here. There are practically no work-from-home options, even for administrative tasks. As a Junior Interior Designer, you're expected to be onsite daily, which makes managing personal appointments tough.
Advice to Management: Consider offering some hybrid options, even if it's just one or two days a week for roles that don't require constant client site visits. It would really help with employee morale and work-life balance. Show more
