Solid job security, but career growth is slow

Pros: It's a pretty stable place if you're looking for job security in the manufacturing sector. There aren't many layoffs, even during slow periods, especially for core roles as a Production Engineer in the Penang plant. You generally feel secure here, which is a big plus.
Cons: Career progression is super slow here; it feels like you're stuck sometimes with no clear path up. Innovation can be a bit lacking, and they're slow to adopt new tech for heavy machinery production. Pay raises are usually small, and benefits aren't super competitive.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into creating clearer career paths and invest more in employee development programs. Boosting pay and benefits would also help attract and keep talent in this competitive industry, especially for critical roles in modernizing heavy machinery. Be more open to new ideas and tech.
