Logistics Coordinator

Stable Job, But Don't Expect Flexibility
Pros: The job security at this family-owned business is solid. My team in the Tawau, Sabah office was great to work with. It's a reliable place if you're looking for steady work in the palm oil industry.
Cons: Work flexibility is really tough here. They don't offer much in terms of remote or hybrid options; it's strict onsite work for most roles. As a Logistics Coordinator, my hours were fixed, making personal appointments tricky.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into more flexible work arrangements. Hybrid models would boost morale and help with talent retention.

Decent Pay for Plantation Supervisor, Benefits Need Work
Pros: The base salary for a Plantation Supervisor is pretty solid, especially for the agriculture sector here. They generally provide annual bonuses, which helps boost the overall compensation.
Cons: Health benefits are pretty basic, not very comprehensive. Retirement contributions aren't as competitive as I've seen elsewhere, even for a family-owned corporate group.
Advice to Management: Management should definitely re-evaluate the benefits package, focusing on better health coverage and more competitive retirement plans to attract and retain talent in the palm oil and agriculture sector.

Decent place to learn accounting basics, but management could be more proactive.
Pros: Good place to learn and gain experience for fresh graduates
Cons: Management concerns
Advice to Management: The leadership team should focus more on fostering a dynamic work environment and providing clearer pathways for professional development. More consistent training and modernizing some of the reporting processes would also be beneficial.
