Pros: As a Software Engineer, the base salary was decent compared to some local startups in the Kuala Lumpur tech scene. They do offer basic health insurance, which is fine. The annual bonus wasn't huge but it was consistent.
Cons: The pay raises were super small, hardly keeping up with inflation. For a mid-sized tech firm, the overall benefits package isn't competitive, especially the retirement plan. We also didn't get much in terms of professional development stipends.
Advice to Management: RIXON TECHNOLOGIES needs to seriously review its compensation strategy, especially for technical roles like software development. Better benefits and competitive raises would really help retention.
