Stable pharma job, but culture needs a refresh
Pros: You get solid job security working in pharmaceuticals manufacturing here. The pay and benefits are pretty decent for a corporate role in Metro Manila, especially for a Quality Assurance Specialist. It's a very established company, so you know it's not going anywhere.
Cons: The company culture is really traditional and hierarchical. It's tough to get new initiatives off the ground, and there's not much encouragement for out-of-the-box thinking. Innovation in drug production sometimes feels secondary to just maintaining the status quo.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to modernize the company culture. Encourage more open communication and empower employees to contribute new ideas, not just follow procedures. It would help retain talent and drive actual innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
