Pros: For a Manufacturing Engineer, the daily schedule is usually okay. We get decent 40-hour weeks outside of peak times. The onsite team support in the Kuala Lumpur office is pretty solid.
Cons: During big project deadlines or peak production, forget about work-life balance. It's common to work extra hours on the assembly line. The pressure in precision manufacturing can be intense then.
Advice to Management: Try to plan better for peak production. It would really help prevent burnout among the engineering and production teams. Maybe more temporary staff could ease the load.
