China Ocean Engineering Corporation (COEC) is a state-owned underwater engineering enterprise under the leadership of Rescue and Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of P.R.C. It is also an international economic & technical cooperation company. It is mainly engaged in underwater engineering, offshore oil construction and maintenance services,labour services, import & export , heavy lifting, ocean towage and heavy & voluminous cargo transport, commercial diver qualification and certification training of PRC, human resources management of rescue and salvage industry. COEC was established and registered in June 1981 with its headquarters in Beijing and the main subsidiary corporations in Shanghai,Guangzhou and Yantai respectively, and branch offices in coastal areas. For nearly three decades, COEC has developed and expanded its business and services both to overseas and domestic.
