Decent Pay, Benefits Could Use a Boost

Pros: The base salary for an Optician role is competitive for the Kuala Lumpur market. They offer health insurance and EPF contributions, which is good for this industry. Sometimes there's a small annual bonus depending on overall company performance.
Cons: Don't expect much beyond the standard benefits package; there aren't many extra perks. Salary increments are pretty small year-to-year. The overall compensation doesn't really feel like it's keeping up with the cost of living here.
Advice to Management: Consider improving the benefits package and offering clearer paths for salary advancement. This would really help retain experienced Opticians who are on the front lines of patient care and frame sales. Showing more appreciation for long-term staff would go a long way. Show more
