Pros: The base salary for engineering roles in the Kuala Lumpur office is decent, especially for a mid-sized corporate. They're pretty good about paying on time, which is important. We do get basic medical coverage too.
Cons: Don't expect big bonuses or rapid annual increments as a Project Engineer. The benefits package is pretty standard, not much beyond basic medical. Things like dental or optical aren't included, which feels a bit lacking for those of us handling civil engineering projects.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into enhancing the overall benefits package. Adding things like dental or a better bonus structure would help retain good engineering talent.
